Semi-detached Housing

The two detached houses have a faceted shape to make it possible to look from the street towards the landscape via a wide angle. The entrances are on the sides so that the reduced front facade still can house a room. The recessed front door makes it possible to look from the kitchen to who is at the door and even further on to the street. The houses have a slight variation in the facades in the window shapes and in the brick plinth, due to their different position in relation to the street noise levels. At the same time they express the independency of each house.
The masonry variation on each level works together with the windows to bring the houses in scale with the surroundings.
