In the design of this Villa, the client wanted the kitchen to be the focal element of the house. The kitchen covers the majority of the space on the ground floor facing the water. The design, which was a result of the requirements of the client, resulted in a volume and facade that is more sculptural than an architectural display.
The main living space is located on the first floor, and is connected by an open staircase with a loft and glass balcony, which provides a connection to the garden and outdoor space. The staircase connects the different volumes of the house, and also provides a view to the water from anywhere in the villa. The facade elements consists of “Sucupira Vermelho” giving the building a warm and rich appearance.
